Underreaming Bit

Shown is a hydraulic operated underreaming bit that allows the drilling of bored pile at a large diameter than the casing.  This makes it ideal for casings to overcome boulders and also to enable drilling of rock sockets smaller or greater than the outer diameter of the casing.  The kinematics of the reamming arms ensure that they remains open when drilling force is applied so that a uniform underreamed diameter is maintained.
